We are excited to invite all ages to tryout for all teams. Please register for a tryout and a coach or team manager will contact you as soon as possible.
Each team is hosting their own tryout (times and locations will vary)- If there is a particular team you would like to tryout with, please note that in your registration.

PURPOSE
The tryout process is necessary to evaluate a player’s readiness for competition at the club level and determine placement within the Club for that age group. Each tryout is an “open tryout”, where players are evaluated on their technical, tactical, athleticism, decision-making, game-understanding, social skills and more.
WHICH TRYOUT/TEAM
Tryouts are scheduled by Birth Year. If evaluators/DOC determine a player should be placed at a different age, that player will be notified by the Claremont Stars.
COMMUNICATION OF RESULTS
At the conclusion of the tryout process, a selection meeting will take place. You will receive a phone call/email dependent on the decision made within 48 hours. All players will be contacted regarding the outcome of the tryouts.
I HAVE BEEN OFFERED A PLACE
Congratulations! We will now be sending you an acceptance letter via email to sign up to your new club team. Once you are all registered and ready to go, the coach will be in contact with you on the next steps moving forward regarding the new season.
TRYOUT TIPS
Arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of the tryout.
Players can wear attire comfortable for training, and must have cleats, shin guards, and most importantly, a soccer ball.
Players will train for 90 minutes, and will be evaluated by members of the coaching and evaluative staff.
